Greek Yoghurt, Berry & Pumpkin Seed Immune Bowl

Feb 19, 2026

Why This Supports Immunity & Resilience

  • A large proportion of immune tissue resides in the gut. Yoghurt provides live cultures that support microbial balance, which in turn influences immune tolerance and pathogen defence.
  • Berries supply anthocyanins that reduce oxidative stress and support immune cell signalling.
  • Pumpkin seeds provide zinc, a mineral essential for T-cell development and antiviral immunity. Zinc deficiency is associated with increased infection susceptibility.
  • The protein content supports antibody production and tissue repair.
  • This is gut–immune axis support in practical daily form.

Ingredients (Serves 1)

200g Greek yoghurt (or coconut yoghurt)
100g mixed berries
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 tsp ground flaxseed
Drizzle honey (optional)

Method

Spoon the yoghurt into a serving bowl and spread it slightly to create a base.

Scatter the mixed berries evenly over the top, followed by the pumpkin seeds and ground flaxseed.

If using honey, drizzle lightly over the surface just before serving. Serve immediately while fresh and chilled.
