Why This Supports Heart Health & Cholesterol
- Oats are one of the most evidence-backed cholesterol-lowering foods due to beta-glucan, a viscous soluble fibre that reduces intestinal cholesterol absorption and increases bile acid excretion.
- Regular beta-glucan intake can reduce LDL cholesterol by 5–10%.
- Apples provide pectin — another soluble fibre — alongside quercetin, which supports endothelial integrity and reduces oxidative stress.
- Walnuts contain plant sterols and ALA, helping to reduce LDL cholesterol and improve lipid ratios.
- This is daily, practical LDL reduction.
