About MeÂ
Dale Pinnock - 'The Medicinal Chef'
- BSc (Hons) - Human Nutrition
- BSc (Hons) - Herbal Medicine
- PgDip - Nutritional Medicine
I have been in this industry for 30 years which, I have to be honest, is a pretty sobering thought.Â
I’ve spent my entire career showing people that food is so much more than fuel — it’s one of the most powerful tools we have to support our health and wellbeing.
As The Medicinal Chef, my mission has always been simple: to make the science of nutrition practical, accessible, and above all, delicious. Over the years, I’ve seen how confusing food and health advice can become — and I wanted to cut through the noise. My approach blends the evidence from nutritional science with the everyday reality of shopping, cooking, and putting meals on the table.
I’m a Sunday Times bestselling author with 24 published books ( and counting), a regular media contributor - on shows like ITV's 'This Morning' & 'Lorraine'. I was also fortunate enough to co host ITV's super successful prime time show 'Eat, Shop, Save'.Â
I am founder of The International School of Nutritional Medicine. A school that developed the first qualification in 'Culinary Medicine' with it's internationally accredited diploma.Â
Whether it’s through my writing, TV work, live events, my goal is to give you the knowledge and confidence to take control of your health with everyday food.
Food doesn’t need to be complicated. It doesn’t need to be extreme. It just needs to be understood. And once you see how simple principles of nutrition can be applied in your kitchen, everything changes.
So welcome — dive into the recipes, explore the articles, or join me in one of my courses. Together, we’ll discover how food really can make you feel better.
