Mixed Seed Humous
I am a fully open and 'out' humous addict. It is my absolute Kryptonite. I adore the stuff, but sometimes I like to get a little bit experimental to see what I can come up with. Seeing as I have a slightly unsettling obsession with fatty acids, it seemed only right that I make a mixed seeds humous type thing to tick both boxes. This was the end result.
300g raw mixed seeds
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Juice of half a lemon
1 large clove of garlic - finely chopped
Generous pinch of sea salt
- Place the seeds, oil, lemon juice, garlic and salt in a food processor and blitz to a smooth dip.
- If the mixture seems too thick, add small amounts of water as necessary.
- Taste and add more salt if needed.
- Serve with vegetable crudités.
