General Nonsense
Scientific basis for natural medicine |

The one single thing that I truly believe will give natural healthcare longevity is continual development of its scientific basis and putting a huge amount of attention into developing an evidence base through continual research.
There are some truly wonderful people doing some beautiful work in this field, but I still feel that those of us that are combining both the scientific and more "new age" models with equal weight, are still very much in a minority. We need to be able to create a bridge between the metaphorical far left new age perspective, and far right scientific model of healthcare for the benefit of all.
Personally, I cannot STAND to be put in a corner where I cannot back up 100% every thing I say and do within my work. If I cannot deliver a scientific and credible justification for what I am doing, I wont do it.
It is this approach, in my opinion, that will preserve our practice in the inevitable barrage of opposition from those who abuse the conventinal sciences.
