Nutrition is a fundamental element to reclaiming good health, and maintaining it for life. Every chemical reaction that occurs in our bodies, every function, relies on the presence of glucose, vitamins, minerals, trace elements, amino acids, and fats. Without the proper fuel and a broad nutrient intake, things can begin to go awry. Also, the manipulation of our nutritional intake can instigate healing and promote a state of positive health. The food that we eat can also create the most profound shifts in every facet of our physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

I use a combination of dietary analysis and alteration, and both short and long term supplementation of various nutrients and nutrient combinations, according to the client's needs, to regenerate them to a state of vibrancy, and push their health into an absolute optimum state.

People often have every intention of eating a far more healthy diet, but often fail because they are unaware of how to correctly prepare such foods, how to make them tasty and enjoyable, or find themselves pressed for time so reach for more convenient options. It is my mission to show the World just how easy and how much fun preparing good food can really be, and it is in this area that the innovation begins.


My top life changing nutrition tips

Eat fresh
Packaged processed ready meals and convenience foods are an absolute abomination, and should be avoided like the black death. Its all about getting fresh! Buy the individual ingredients, learn how to prepare them, learn how to blend flavours, learn how to make food the most divine treat ever. Processed food is dead and devoid of any micronutrients (ie vitamins and minerals). They are filled to the hilt with preservatives and flavour enhancers, flavourings, and all that undesirable nonsense. When you cook from fresh, you control exactly whats in there and exactly how well the food is prepared.

Eat more raw
Raw food is living vibrant complete food. When fruit and veg are in their raw state they have most of their nutrition intact, and are alive with a host of enzymes. These enzymes aid our digestion, which makes us feel more energised (because our bodies dont have to battle so hard to digest our food). Raw fruits and vegetables supply us with high levels of micronutrition, electrolytes, trace elements that would usually be destroyed in the cooking process. Some folk I know consume 100% raw food. I personally cant do it, so im in the region of about 70%. Even consuming 50% of your food in its raw state, you will begin to notice drastic improvements in your overall health, energy, and vitality. Give it a try!

Hydration, hydration, hydration
This is an absolute vital element that comes almost at the top of all healing strategies. Without proper hydration, no system can function properly. Many of today's dead processed food, excessive tea and coffee consumption, and excessive alcohol intake, and high stress levels, drastically deplete the body's reserves of water and leave us gasping out for proper hydration. I recommend drinking the usual recommended 2 litres a day, but try adding a couple of pinches of high quality sea salt or himalayan crystal salt. GASSSSP!!! Yes, thats right, SALT!!!! Table salt, aka sodium chloride is a nutrient robbing, blood pressure increasing nasty that should indeed be cut out of our diets. Sodium is the mineral your body uses to hold onto water. When this mineral is consumed in isolation - ie withouth the many other minerals that would naturally accompany it in natural foods, then it can cause us to hold onto so much water that the volume of our blood increases. More volume inside blood vessels = higher pressure within vessels. Sea salt and Himalayan crystal salt consist of a perfectly naturally balanced 80-90 minerals and trace elements, exactly as the body requires them and knows how to use them. The addition of these minerals essentially makes the water "wetter" and increases your body's ability to take it in, thus delivering superior hydration that will leave you feeling incredible as all of your tissues bask in this glorious shower. Listen to your body
Your body is the absolute best barometer as to what suits you, what is working, and what is not. Please always remember that one mans poison is another mans panacea. Just because something works for me, doesnt necessarily mean it is the right thing for you. Often this journey is one of experimentation, and you will learn some amazing lessons about yourself along the way. The more you listen to your body, the more sensitive and in tune with yourself you will become.
