About Dale

Dale Pinnock BSc (hons)

Dale Pinnock is creating something of a stir in the UK media in recent months. He is regularly sought after for his detailed indepth knowledge of the fields of nutrition, herbal medicine, and phytonutrients and protectants, and his bold passion for showing what works, and what is just wishful thinking. He is recently getting a great deal of media attention due to his unique work in the area of prescriptive “medicinal cookery” based upon tailoring menu’s to meet individuals specific health needs.

Dale is degree trained in both Nutrition and Herbal Medicine. This training took place at two of the UK’s most respected universities. Dale is now also pursuing his post graduate career, for a Masters Degree qualification, in Nutritional Medicine at the University of Surrey. Whilst studying he also worked as a wholefoods chef. This combined experience has led to him working in the way that he does. He wears many hats at once, and delivers the full spectrum of his expertise, in order to guide the public towards a healthier life, and more informed choices.

Dale has no belief in the idea of ‘alternatives’ to conventional treatment at all. His approach is in no way meant to be a replacement for the treatment that individuals would get from their doctor, and he works directly with many GP’s, specialists, and academics in the healthcare field. We now know enough about food and nutrition, and its effects upon the body in both health and disease, to know that it can be a very valid tool in the healthcare picture, and in the prevention of disease. Dale’s work aims to give individuals tools and information that they can easily and safely implement into their daily regime, no matter what type of treatment they are undergoing. The food we eat is one part of the healthcare picture, and thankfully one that we have ultimate control over.

Dale is very much of the belief that diet and lifestyle offers some fantastic opportunities for individuals to take elements of their own healthcare into their own hands. At the same time, he is acutely aware that there is a lot of quackery and fairy tails that are delivered as fact in this field. It is his mission to be vocal and passionate about what works, and why, and to weed out that which is nothing more than science fiction, to give you, the people who need this information the most, the real picture.
